Our Senior Management Team

The Board of Directors appoints the CEO who delegates responsibility to the Senior Management Team (SMT) to ensure effective leadership, management, co-ordination and delivery of Clarecare’s services by our workforce of 400 employees. The SMT has responsibility for the development and implementation of strategy, management of risk, and oversight of performance including financial performance and service delivery.

Hugh joined Clarecare in 2020 and has implemented stringent financial controls and auditing processes in addition to strengthening the IT network within the organisation.

Carmel is the Human Resources Manager in Clarecare since 2015. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management and has 25 years HR management experience in a range of sectors including voluntary, public sector and private industry.

Cathal O'Neill

Cathal has many years experience working in the home support sector and joined Clarecare in 2019 where he now manages a team of 300 staff throughout the county which includes home support area managers, home support workers, clinical staff and scheduling/administration staff.

Jacinta is a qualified social worker and has been with Clarecare since 1992. She has more than 30 years’ experience of working with families in the areas of child protection, children in care, aftercare and family support and she currently manages the Family Support Service.

Since 2005, Mags has been managing Bushypark Addiction Treatment Service supporting over 100 people each year to participate in a 28-day residential recovery programme in addition to overseeing community-based addiction treatment programmes.

Martina joined Clarecare in 2021 in the role of Social Enterprise Development Officer. She has over 35 years' experience in business development, marketing and project management and has an educational background in strategic management, business and planning.
